I've spent most of my 20+ years of experience in the software development and information technology industry focusing on leadership and the intersection between software development, software operations, and software security.
Responsible for leading the teams that deliver, support, and maintain EPS 9-1-1, Dispatch, ERP, Records, Intelligence, Analytics, Communications, Administrative, and HRIM systems.
Apart from professional pursuits and technology interests, I enjoy spending time with my family. Lately it seems I spend most of my time going back and forth between dance and ballet classes, soccer games, and Air Cadet events. Does it ever end! During the warmer months here in Edmonton, I enjoy camping and biking.
I spend a large amount of my free time reading and exploring technology advancements. I also have a strong interest in Education, and volunteer my time on the NAIT BAIST Advisory Committee, helping shape the program and develop curriculum.
