Higgs Boson

Scientists at CERN announced today that they have obtained results consistent with the existence of the Higgs Boson at the predicted mass energy of 125 GeV.

More data is required to validate all of the predicted behaviours (such as decay rate) but these are significant results, with a high level (99.99994%) of confidence.
